Termokande is a thermos designed to reduce the costs of production, distribution and disposal. Starting from the selection of materials and production techniques, I paid attention to the consumption of CO2 derived from the product life cycle, from supply of raw materials to disposal and waste recovery.


The final price is reduced thanks to the high durability of materials and the reduction of scraps using new production techniques of composite materials, such as sintering and injection moulding.


Autodesk Solidworks helped me to evaluate loads and stresses affecting on the material, a sandwich of polyurethane resin with an expanded polystyrene body.
